These prints are inspired by art deco propaganda posters from 1930 Europe. Artist John Preble (b.1948) is a well known artist - he is famous for his studio and museum located an hour north of New Orleans in the historic tourist town of Abita Springs.
The Dikes image was developed after a Dutch engineer recently exclaimed “New Orleans Needs Stronger Dikes.” The Ferrys image was developed after my buddy George mentioned to me that New Orleans needs stronger ferrys.

Suggested frame size: 18×24″ These posters may be easily framed using a common size frame available almost everywhere. The prints were printed locally on heavy poster paper.
